Flash news report - 11/22/06 - This afternoon we heard from the WSDOT that they are NOT going to be needing our property for their retention pond needs for this project.  I was told this is a final decision, and they will not be bothering us again.  Happy days!!!  One more big thank you to all the people who submitted public comments to the WSDOT - I think the number of comments submitted had a lot to do with their decision.

On Thursday, August 3, 2006, a gentleman from the WSDOT came and told us that the state wanted to buy our property, demolish all the buildings, and put in a stormwater retention pond, for the I-405 Widening Project.

This was the first inkling that we had of this, and needless to say, we were shocked.

**NEW** Click here to see a slide show about Dr. Joseph C. Brugman's life.  (Warning - large image files.  I wouldn't suggest viewing it with a dial up connection.  Also, you may get a warning about "blocked content".  If so, click the message at the top of the page and say it is okay.)

Click here to see some aerial pictures of Bedside Manor, from the 1970's.  It is interesting to see how the immediate area looked back then.  A couple of pictures have been added, including a comparison of 1970 versus 1993.  Lots of growth during those years.

Thanks for all the support we have gotten from everyone!
